John 3:16

God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 1:10-12

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name…

HOW DO I BECOME SAVED?

THE PRAYER OF SALVATION:

The most Important Decision you will ever make!

If you have read ‘Why Do I Need Salvation’, on the previous page, then, you know that we are all sinners before our Holy God; and sin leads to death, and death is eternal judgment in Hell—forever.

You have rejoiced because of The Good News, called the Gospel: That God so loved the world that He sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, who took our punishment of sin upon Himself, as our substitute, and now anyone, no matter how sinful; can choose to accept and trust Jesus Christ, and receive Him, as their Savior. This is the only way to God and Heaven. John 14:6

Firstly, you must admit you are a sinner; and believe that Christ died on the cross for you, and rose from the grave. You must turn away from your sins to Christ. You must follow Him as your Lord and let Him control your life. God promises that when we make this pledge, He will save us and make us His children, and we will live with Him, forever.

Salvation is a free gift and when your heart makes this promise, through faith, to Christ as your Savior; you are washed clean and absolved from all sins. If you are ready, then say this prayer from your heart:

Jesus, I believe and accept Your sacrifice on the cross in my behalf as my Salvation; and I will receive your Spirit and honor and serve You, throughout my whole life; and I will accept your promises and be faithful to Your teachings.”

Live this promise daily. Then, thank Him, as His Divine power has renewed your spirit and made you a new creature in Christ. (2: Corinthians 5:17) As a new child of God, your goal is to become like Christ, which is a process of learning God’s Word, then walking in His Ways; as earth becomes your school and a discipline for Heaven. Ephesians 5:2 Submit all your concerns to Him, and trust that He will guide you. His ways are illuminated when you are in His Will.

Then, study all of God’s Word to be continually approved, and seek His Face; you will find Him, and He will commune with you. Be wise, and abide very closely to all His Laws; and if a breach occurs, quickly repent, and expect expiation, and accept it graciously as it happens. Hebrews 12: 5-12 John-7-17 2 Timothy 2:15 1 John 2:1 Acts 20:27

Remember, when one accepts Jesus the Christ as their Savior, they are secure; and if one stays ‘In Christ’, they maintain their salvation, so learn what sin is, and don’t do it; for willful sin after salvation through Christ, is not covered by Christ’s blood and must be repented and expiated. Hebrews 10:26 The promise of Christ is true, but God is just and righteous and must judge fairly and hold all accountable for their indiscretions, as well as all the good that one has done. Revelation 20:11-15 Hebrews 9:27

So, after your salvation, life resumes, and so does the propensity to sin; so repent frequently, so that your soul remains clean; as the state of your soul at death, has eternal consequences; and when you sin, you open a legal door to your enemy who can harm you. Psalms 32 Ephesians 4:27

Therefore, pray often, even throughout your day, and especially before big decisions; and remember that God is not obligated to anoint anything that He does not request of you. Pray, pray, pray, and let the Holy Spirit, now living within you, direct your path. Psalm 100:4

Your walk with God, is a new journey, so trust in Him and find and learn His Complete Word; it will be a lamp to your feet and will light the path He has designed for you.

Grow in the grace and knowledge of your Lord Jesus Christ, and walk humbly with your God.

Billy Graham:

Remember, we must admit that we are sinners. We must turn away from our sins and to Christ. We must trust Him as our Savior and follow Him as our Lord. God promises that when we do this, He will save us and make us His children, and we will live with Him forever.
